This week...

First, I have to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY ABBEY, WE LOVE YOU!!!!! Not that she will read it, but we wish Darin's daughter a happy happy 20th Birthday today.

This past week has gone by so fast. It's hard to believe that it's the end of the week already, let alone almost the end of August!

Darin took his actual days off, Monday and Tuesday, and it was nice to get to spend some time with him. He slept pretty much all day Monday, but when he woke up, we went to look at a enclosed trailer. We are going to need someplace to keep all his work tools and supplies and he thought a trailer would be the best place so that it could be mobile if need be. It's actually a little cheaper than a shed anyway.
After we looked at a trailer, we checked the mail then went grocery shopping then came home.

Tuesday, we get a late start in the morning afternoon. Darin was wanting to get up early, but I let him sleep in. I can't imagine how hard it is to continually switch from being up all night to being up early two days out of the week. We eventually left the house mid afternoon and headed on our way.

We had heard about a small train that gives tours of the town, kind of like the train at Hogle Zoo in Utah I guess. Unfortunately, they had just stopped for the season the day before :( Oh well, I guess that gives us an excuse to go back next year.

They have quite the park at Medora. It reminded me of the Hospital park in Rexburg, but made out of wood and bigger, minus the huge train and hills to roll down.

Kooper had a lot of fun, but Darin had fun too. I snapped a few pictures of him swinging :)
After the park, we went and got some ice cream then walked around town for a while. We had a great time and will definitely be going back to Medora.

Wednesday, Darin went back to work and Kooper and I caught up on housework and laundry then went to town to get the oil changed in Darin's car. While we were waiting, we went to the mall and I got a great deal on some onesies to embelish and sell.

Thursday, we went to the play date at the park at 9:30 a.m. Kooper loves to play with other kids and loves the playdates every Monday and Thursday. Monday's are his favorite although we don't make it very often to them because it's Darin's day off.

This last Tuesday, school started so they pretty much closed the pool. It's sometimes open from 4-6, but you don't really know if it is for sure. We were supposed to go to the pool Thurday because we knew for sure it was going to be filled, but we didn't make it. Kooper was pretty bummed. It was a great day for the pool too as it was 95 degrees here. Maybe another day. But, we did get to go visit some good friends here in Belfield and we had a good time. Kooper even got to borrow a Bernstein Bears movie. He has been watching it as much as he can.

Today, Kooper was up at 5:30, thats what I get for hime going to bed at 9. Sometimes I wish he knew how to sleep more than 8 hours a day!

It's been a good day though. The house is clean, dinner is done, Darin's stuff is all ready for work and we are just going to play and have fun the rest of the day. I may even get some sewing done.

Happy Friday all!
